Son of the late Kipkurgat Arap Chwanya, Sarah Jepkerich Chwanya (Batiem) and Tamarta Chwanya.
Husband of Mary Jeptabut Rop and the late Rael Jerono Rop.
Brother of Leonida Jepwambok Kisoryo (Mogoon), the late Kimuutyo Arap Kurgat (Ngeria), the late Salina Jepchirchir (Bot Tapnyongi) of Mugundoi, the late Anna Jerono (Bot Kiyai) of Seiyo and the late Ezekiel Kipsongok (Arap Borok) of Lelwak.
Father of Esther Chesang, David Sang, Rosa Kogo, Juliana Sawe, Solomon Sang, Cornelius Lelei, Abraham Tuwei, Prof. Susan Kurgat, Ambrose Sang, Elizabeth Rop, John Sang, Julius Sang and Diana Korir.
Father in-law of Dr. Catherine Sang, Stella Sang (USA), Caroline Lelei, Stella Sang, Eunice Tuwei, Irene Tuwei, Miriam Sang and Monica Sang.
Grandfather and great grandfather to many.
The cortege leaves White Crescent Funeral Home on Friday 28th March 2025 for requiem mass at St Monica Chepting’ting Catholic church and thereafter night vigil at his home.
Funeral service will be on Saturday 29th March 2025 at his home Chepting’ting village, Mogoon sub location, Ol’lessos location, Nandi County.
