It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Alex Njoroge Gitachu on the evening of Friday 14th March, 2025 after a brave fight with cancer.
The beloved son of Mr. Joseph Gitachu Thiga and Mrs. Rosemary Wairimu Gitachu.
Brother of Andrew Gitachu & Rachael Wang’ang’a, Robert Gitachu, and Christine Gitachu & Juma Mungai.
The uncle of Kaylyn & Kenisha Thiga, Jayden & Zemira Ngumi and Roman & Leona Mungai.
A beloved grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting at their family home in Nairobi from 6.00pm on Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th March 2025.
There shall be a Memorial Service at P.C.E.A St.Andrew’s Church Nairobi, on Wednesday, 19th March 2025, at 2.00pm.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Hospital Mortuary at 8:30 am on Friday 21st March 2025, for a funeral service and burial at 11.00am at Mabanda, Gatanga, Muranga County.
