It is with profound sorrow and grief that we announce the untimely passing of Anne Wambui Githinji, retired teacher at Piave and Ngano Primary schools on the 20 March, 2025 after a short illness.
Beloved wife of Robert Githinji Njai (formerly of Kenya Meteorological Department), doting mother of Sammy Njai (Office of the Auditor-General), the late Peter Mwangi, Wilfred Gatharia (TPS Plc) and Charles Kimani of Vancouver, Canada.
Loving mother in love of Mary Njeri, Annastacia Wairimu and Mercy Waceke.
She was a loving daughter of the late Peter Mwangi Kabiro and Jedidah Muthoni Kabiro of Kipkaren, Eldoret. Daughter in law of the late Loise Wambui Njai and late Samuel Njai.
She was beloved sister of Mary Wanjiru and the late Josphat Kamau (Fly over Kinangop), the late Mumbi Kabiro, Fredrick Macharia and the late Esther Wanjiru (Nairobi), Charles Kimani and Damaris Muthoni(Eldoret), Naomi Wambui and David Karimi (Nakuru), Kamau Mwangi and Agnes Wairimu (Nairobi) and John Muturi and Margaret Wangari (Nakuru).
She was a beloved sister in law of Mary Njeri and James Iguta(Piave, Njoro), Teresia Wanjiru and Gabriel Njoroge (Bagaria, Njoro) and Peter Ndungu and Grace Njeri (Piave, Njoro).
Adoring grandmother of Tevin, Allen, Ella, Rylan,Janaya and Jaymin.
She was an aunt, cousin, niece and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at her residence in Piave Village, Njoro next to Bridgewater Girls Secondary School starting from 3.00 PM.
The cortege will leave Umash funeral home, Nakuru on 1st April, 2025 at 8.30 am for a funeral service and burial at her residence in Piave Village.
We loved you greatly, but the Lord loved you more and may the Lord rest you in eternal peace.
