It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Daniel Onderi Oure of Bogetagonka Village, South Mugirango Constituency, Kisii County which occurred on 6th March 2025 at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi.
Until his death, he served as a Deputy Chief State Counsel at the State Law Office and Department of Justice.
He was a dedicated and loving husband of Emily Nasimiyu Bwile, father of Cynthia, Brian, Janet, John and Mitchelle, father-in-law of Jemimah, Joel and Kevin and grandfather of Natalie.
He was the son of the late Nashon Onderi and Mama Janet Asigo.
Son-in-law of the late Herbert Waswa and the late Mama Mary Siakilo Waswa.
Brother of Hon. Moses Onderi,Teresa, Esther, Mary, Agnes, and Alice.
Brother-in-law of Agnes Boyani, Willy Kibulo, Evelyne Nafula, Gillian Nekesa, Maxwell Waswa, Fred Waswa, and Esther Waswa.
He was in-law of Charles Mumo and Judy Mutanu.
Uncle of Janet, Ebenezer, Jonathan, Tamara, Almata, Evaline, Dennis Ositu, Linnet, Geoffrey, Marion Momanyi, Jeffers Kivandah, Dennis Onderi and many more.
Friends and family members are meeting daily from 4.00 pm at his home in Githunguri Utawala and at Moticho, Bogetagonka village till the 19th of March 2025.
The main fundraising to offset resultant bills and meet funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday, 19th March 2025 at the Professional Center, from 4.00pm.
A celebration service of the late Daniel Onderi Oure’s life will be held on Sunday, 16th March 2025 at 2:30PM at PEFA SOUL WINNERS CATHEDRAL, UTAWALA.
Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories as we honor the beautiful life he lived.
The cortège shall leave Umash Funeral Home Nairobi on 20th March 2025 at 7.00 am for a funeral service and travel to his rural home in Bogetagonka Village, Moticho ward South Mugirango, Kisii County.
There shall be a last respect mass on the 21st March, 2025 at Maroo playground and final burial rites.
Though Daniel Onderi Oure may no longer be with us in person, his love, wisdom, and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
