It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of Dr. G.K. Onyango of MP Shah Hospital/Electricity House.
He was son of Martin Oluoch and Truphena Adero; step-son of Eunice Nyangweso and Melisa Atieno (all deceased).
Husband of Frida Lwile and Elizabeth Mutambah.
Father of Tito, Diana Apeles, Dr Ruth Akinyi (deceased), Truphena Atieno, Martin Ozee, Brian Daudi (Oracle), Emmanuel Onyango Jr. and Neal Onyango (UoN); grandfather of Iris Juma (Strathmore University), Jahzara Atieno (Makini School) and Naleah Murimi (Seedlings Junior School).
He was brother of Beldina Midega, Anna Nyasala, Julia Atieno, Amos Odhiambo, James Okach, Lucas Oluoch, Wilson Tieng’ (all deceased), Zainabu Awuor, Dorcas Achieng’ and Maritha Musungu.
Son-in-law of Jotham and Melab Sibuchi of the Tachoni-Sipala clan, George and Tarasila Mutambah (all deceased) and Mary Mutambah of Kandara, Muranga.
Brother-in-law of Jackson Baraza, Festus Wanjala (deceased), Richard Masika (deceased), Henry Bwire (deceased), Philip Kisaka, Loise Navalayo (deceased), Lornah Apungu, Rev. Mary Kagota, Beatrice Khisa, Jane and Nyoike, Jim and Comfort & Andrew and Claire.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on the 20th of March 2025 for his home in Gem Yala (Anyiko Konjra).
Meetings for funeral arrangements will be held at the All Saints Cathedral Hall from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday (11th ), Wednesday (12th) and Thursday (13th ) March 2025. Main-fundraising shall be held on Tuesday 18th March 2025 at from 5.00pm to 8.00pm at All Saints Cathedral Hall.
The burial ceremony will be held on 22nd March 2025.
