It is with heartfelt sorrow but profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs.Elizabeth Nasimiyu Nyongesa, beloved wife of Johndee Mecca Nyongesa on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family.

The treasured daughter of the late Priscilla and Francis Wanyonyi, stepdaughter of the late Susanna Wanyonyi.

Daughter-in-law of the late Esther Navisino and Agosta Mecca.

Loving and devoted mother of Joe, Collins, Paul, Annemarie, Samuel, Joshua, Lucy, David and Moses.

Cherished mother-in-law of Valerie Mukuna, Ruth Alusi, Rachel Nguli and Catherine Kagunyi.

Sister of Anna Kundu, the late Selina Situma, James Wanyonyi, Mary Wanyonyi, Brigid Masika, Esther Nekesa, the late Hellen Mutekhele and Manuel Wanyonyi.

Step sister the late Jane Namalwa, Maclean Simiyu, Peter Wanyonyi, Roselynne Wanyonyi, the late Catherine, Moses Wanyonyi, Leonard Nyongesa and Betty Wanyonyi.

Sister-in-law of the late Lorna Wasige, the late Rose Masinde, the late Brigid Sichangi, the late Selina Wekesa, Professor Battan Khaemba and Sella Liko.

Beloved Grandmother of Priscilla, Phostine, Benjamin, Mercy, Daniel, Deborah, Esther, Sophia, Aaron, Victor, and Lexxy. Great grandmother of Aaliya Khalai.

Much beloved aunt of the Wasiges, the Masindes, the Wekesas, the Sichangis, the Khaembas, the Likos, the Kundus, the Situmas, the James’ family, the Wanyamas, the Masikas, Esther’s family, and the Barasas. Great Aunt to many.

Meetings are being held at 4:00 p.m. daily at her home in Kikwameti Farm, Kitale to discuss funeral arrangements, a fundraiser will take place on Thursday 27/03/25 at 1:00 p.m. at the same place.

The cortege will leave Kiminini Cottage Hospital on Friday 28/03/2025 at 10:00 a.m. for a memorial service and vigil at her home.

Burial will take place on Saturday 29th March 2025 at Kikwameti Farm in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County
