It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of Joseph Ochieng Otieno which occurred on 28th February 2025 at St. Camilus Hospital Sori, in Migori County.
He was the son of the late Richard & Monicah Otieno.
Brother of the late Rose Awour, the late Pamela Atieno, Anne Adhiambo, the late Josephine Aluoch, Eunice Auma and the late Joshua Onyango.
Husband of Sellar Adhiambo Otieno. Father of the late Monicah Akinyi, Belinda Atieno, Hillary Odhiambo, Brian Onyango, Joshua Omondi and Angel Blessing.
Grandfather of Samantha, Alexis & Talia Jasmine.
Cousin of Peter Ombogo, Stephen Wasonga, Kennedy Amara, Anthony Obinda, Amos Waonga, Jackline Adhiambo, Esther Akinyi, and Monicah Atieno.
Uncle of Ken, Atoli, Achupa, Apela, Dady, Cavalo, Ochieng, Caro, Owadwa, Cate, Opuga, Dan, Faith, Nick, Venessa, Deno, Pharel, Victor, Awuor among others. Nephew of Dalmas Wasonga, William Amara, Joseph Muganda, Alice Okoya among others.

The body lies at Chiromo Mortuary. The requiem mass will be held on 20th March 2025 at Kamkunji grounds Kibra.
The cortege will leave the mortuary on 21st March 2025 to Siaya Alego, Ngiya where the burial will be held on 22nd March 2025 at Nathenga Village near Agoro Oyombo Secondary School.
