It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Margaret Karambu Mworia of Nkando Village, Githongo, Meru County which occurred on 13th March 2025 after a short illness.

Daughter of Musa Rukaria and Maritha Musa. Wife of Paul Mworia Muketha of Nkando village. Sister of Harriet Gikunda, Nathan Mworia, Peter Muthaura, Stephen Mbwiria and Susan Maitethia.

Doting mother of Lucy Mworia & Jesse Arimi, Victor Gikunda & Catherine Wanjiru, Violet Kanana & Victor Mwirigi, Jane Gatwiri, Edward Koome, Denis Mutuma and Evans Muriki.

Sister-in-law of Stephen Gikunda, Kinanu Mworia, Purity Muthaura, Gladys Mbwiria, George Maitethia, the late Ntaari, Ncugune, Kithinji, Mparu and Nyegera. 

Grandmother of Tracy,Tamara,Talia, Lillyan, Jeremy, Levi,Valya and Vanni.

She was an Aunt & Cousin to many. 

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kaugu, Nkando village & Nyweri home, Meru County from 5.00pm and in Nairobi at The All Saints Cathedral from 5:00pm on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th March 2025.

There will be a memorial service at St. Peters Methodist Church, Langata on Thursday 20th March 2025 starting at 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Cool Breeze Funeral Home on Saturday 22nd March 2025 for a funeral service at Githongo Methodist Church at 10.00 a.m and thereafter burial at her home in Nkando Village, Githongo, Meru County.
