He was a loving husband of Pauline Gateri. He was the son of the Late Mzee Jacob Tinega & Hellen Bochaberi, Step son of Tabitha Moraa.
He was an amazing father of Grace Mujera, Mathias, Hannah and Ruth. He was a son-in-law of the Late Erastus Bauni and Grace Kainyu.
He was a grandfather of Paul, Lionel, Michael, Ethan, Christian, Asher, Ariana, Ezeh, Duncan, Michelle, Ryan, and Wanja. Father-in-law of Eric Mujera, Purity Siteyian and Andrew Kinuthia.
He was a brother of Daniel, Jeriah, Miriam, the late Bosire, Mongare, Ndemo, the late Daudi, Jephter, Haron, Rodah, Bogonko, Stellah, Jackline, Elijah, and Thomas (USA).
He was an in-law of the late Trizah, Margret, Nyagah, and Njeri, the late Boaz Mujera, Rebecca Mujera, the late Daniel Lepaiton Maiyan, Hon. Jacinta Lepaiton (Kajiado County MCA) and Rosemary Kinuthia.
He was a nephew of the Late Omosa Nyarangi, Late Mongare, Momanyi, Kamanda, Late Mokaya, Potas, Cornelius Nyamboki, Zephania Nyarunda, Momanyi Araka, John Makana, Nyakundi, Alfred Opande, Nyabwari Opande, Late Nyamongo, Late Orina Nyamboki, Late Pengo Nyamboki, Monyoncho Nyambariga, George Nyarunda, Ken Otachi, Late Monica Kwamboka (Nyamasebe), Ondieki, Nyamboba, Bironga, & Others.
He was a cousin of the Late Mokaya Omosa, Late Lukas Nyarangi, Nyangaresi, Bosire, Nyagwoka, Obare, John, Kenyatta, Florence Nyangau, Nyaboke, Stephen, Ogamba, Jeremiah, Esther, Bogonko TZ, Elijah, Kefa, Mokaya, Nyasani, Boisabi, Onchonga, Charles, Otonu, Omwansa (USA), Samuel, Ondari, Eric Orina (USA), Walter Nyambane, Oscar, Douglas (USA) & Others.
He was an uncle of Jared, Alex, Joshua, Onchonga, Nyamboki, Jones, Ken, Leyla, Abel, Oire, James, Lillian, Kemuntos, Dominic & Others.
The body is lying at Montezuma Funeral Home – Nairobi.
The body will depart on 13 th March, 2025 for a requiem service at ICC Church-Mombasa Rd.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday 14th March, 2025 at KAG University, Kitengela – Kajiado County, and thereafter, interment at his Korrompoi home.
Family, friends and the community are meeting daily for prayers and to celebrate his life at CITAM Woodley from 4.00p.m to 6.00p.m and at his home in Kitengela.
There will be a fundraising to defray the costs of the funeral at CITAM Woodley on Tuesday 11th March, 2025 from 4.00p.m to 8.00p.m.
