STEPHEN FRANCIS MUSUNDI

We thank God for the life of Stephen Francis Musundi who passed on, on 12th March 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

Steve, an engineer by profession but an entrepreneur, adventurer, and visionary at heart.

His journey took him across the world – living in the USA, Botswana, Mozambique, and South Africa – before returning to Kenya in his later years.

A true people person, Steve never met a stranger.

He made friends everywhere and cherished deep, meaningful conversations.

His bold spirit, love for the unknown, and gift for storytelling defined his life. His humor brought joy, and his forward-thinking nature inspired many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah; children Sela, Sean, Noah, and Cathy; and siblings Phillip and Bernadette, Joyce and John Barasa, Dorothy and Teddy Muyera, Esther and Samson Wesonga, Joel and Cordy, Onesmus and Joyce, and David and Joan.

He is also survived by his in-laws, Nathan and Carol Makokha, and Tony and Hanna Tadayo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Norah Musundi, and his son, Mwambu.

He is also survived by his in-laws Nathan and Carol Makokha, Tony and Hanna Tadayo, Martin Hoko and Sharon Hoko.

Steve was a cherished cousin of the Wabuyele, Muliro, Mudavadi, Bwayo, and Kuto families, among others.

A prayer service will be held at Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, 15th March, 2025 at 7.00 a.m., followed by his cremation.

Memorial masses will be held at St. Francis Church, Karen, 18th March, 2025 at 4.00 p.m., and at his home

– Pazuri Gardens, Angle Farm Kitale 22nd March, 2025.
